Rovers Ramblings chats to Daniel Corbally

15/07/2012 21:27

Due to Shamrock Rovers' poor performances in the season so far, we thought we'd have a quick chat with Rovers' fan Daniel Corbally.

I caught up with the in-famous Shamrock Rovers fan and he agree that the appointment of Stephen Kenny was a wrong one. Read ahead!

Rovers Ramblings: Right, Daniel. Your intake on the season so far?

DC: It's bit all stop start so far for us, need a good push on soon and back to good things.

Rovers Ramblings: Your fair opinion on the man in charge, Stephen Kenny?

DC: To be fair, he was put straight in the deep end. We (Shamrock Rovers) made the wrong appointment. He isn't the man you bring in to win you the league, he's a man you bring in to challenge for it. Poor decisions from him, like leaving in-form striker Daryl Kavanagh out of the side week in and week out. I don't know how Daryl is still remaining calm. Bohs away should've been the final nail in Kenny's coffin.

Rovers Ramblings: If he (Stephen Kenny) was to leave Shamrock Rovers, who would you like to see brought in?

DC: As much as I hate him, Pat Fenlon.

Rovers Ramblings: Finishing up on the fourth qustion, but the most important one. Wheere do you, now, hope we finish with the title race surely over for us?

DC: Sadly, the title is well gone. If we do, however, manage to win it I'd be both shocked and bemused. But, I wouldn't abuse Kenny again. We'll challenge for second I suppose.

This was only a few questions long but the most important questions were asked. Rovers Ramblings would like to thank Daniel Corbally for taking the time out to talk to us.

Thanks to you for reading,

RR.
